Fox News using Skype

Regardless of the politics addressed in the interview, I note the use of a Skype webcam interview on Fox News today. #
Are other major networks using Skype for webcam interviews on broadcast TV? Who out there in collegemediatopia* recording Skype interviews for their web site? #
*collegemediatopia coined by Dan Reimold #
Skype has recently launched S60 compatible application , The application initially will come as integrated part of Nokia N series mobile(N97 to start with) and some E series mobile as well. This is a free software for nokia phones also download link and SKYPE lite details are mentioned at http://yourtechmate.blogspot.com/
In some newsrooms, like student newsrooms this tool is being implemented… I currently do a "unicast" stream in medium-high quality MPEG-4 format back to a computer in our control room. The delay is about 4-seconds. Skype seems to be faster, but more "blocky." Skype also finds itself in a weird position where it won't accept "DV Audio." This means if you hook up a DV camera to you computer for Skype purposes, it only takes in the DV VIDEO not AUDIO. This inhibits you from using XLR microphones, etc, etc… unless you have a mixer hooked into your computer's line in. This is still an experimental field for me, but as a student journalist that has never attempted live shots before—getting this close to a live truck is a priceless experience. All you need to do now is hook up a broadband wireless internet card and you can do live hits from anywhere!
[...] Similarly, journalists find that Skype is a useful reporting tool. If a journalist has a wireless connection card, all he or she needs is a webcam and laptop to connect to Skype for live on-site reporting. Journalists may also conduct interviews via video chat. News outlets such as FOX News are even using Skype to conduct webcam interviews during their broadcast. [...]
They use skype web cam but sometimes it is too slow. I think they should stream through the wide coverage area of satellite tv for pc and I think it would come out better.http://www.computeruser.com/blogs/entry/satelli…..
