As promised, I opened up my RSS reader tonight and stared at hundreds of unread journalism-related posts that have collected over the past month as I’ve been mostly absent from the journoblogosphere.
I’m sure there’s lots of interesting material in there, including last month’s Carnival of Journalism.
But I’ve decided not to wade through all that good and bad news, because to do so would just get me even further behind, and demoralize me from plowing ahead with the blog. Instead, I am going to start with a clean slate in the rss feeds. If it happened last month, it’s old news and I won’t cover it on the blog. We’ll see how that works beginning tomorrow morning.

I’m obviously over-subscribed as I too try to nuke my 500+ unread RSS items - less than a week’s worth.
