Twittering trial coverage - BSU Daily News

January 23rd, 2008 by Bryan

The editor-in-chief of the Daily News at Ball State, Jessica Oxley, is not only writing news stories about a civil trial focusing on the shooting death of a BSU student, she’s twittering her coverage as well.

Here’s the opening day recap. Here’s the Daily News twitter feed. The one quibble I have is that there’s no mention of the Twitter feed in the news story. At the top, there should be something that says: “For continuous coverage from the courtroom, click here to go to our Twitter feed” with a link to the feed page.

Your student media can be using Twitter as well. Not sure what it is? Check out this post by Ryan Sholin for more information.
