Innovation in College Media

Good post today from Mediashift - Photocommunity: Flickr changes lives, launches photog careers. I started teaching photography when it still meant getting into the darkroom with a bunch of D-76 and Fix. It was difficult to get a photo into a computer. That's not the case anymore, and I'd encourage any student who's interested in photojournalism to make their photos as widely available as possible (and begin shooting video, but that's another story).
