Workshop wrap-up through other eyes
April 2, 2007 in hope for the future, Workshop
The first-ever CICM hands-on workshop is over. It was a big event for a small crew of folks to put together on a shoe-string budget. Most of the comments were positive. I’m especially pleased to hear from participants who have blogged about it. Read their comments:
Chris Hokanson, Texas A&M multimedia editor;
Chris Drain, adviser at Pensacola Junior College;
Tiffany Tcheng, web editor at Arizona State;
Matt Davis, editor-in-chief at Chattanooga State. #
All in all, I think we achieved our goal of getting some training into the hands of those who need it most: students and advisers. The next step is up to them: putting it into action. We’ll keep you posted on how it’s going. #
It was a great workshop, and I've already put together a list of goals I hope to accomplish before the end of the semester. I'm planning on hosting a mini CICM workshop for our staff here to pass the information along. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
