Quick. Go here. Notice anything wrong with the story? It’s a list of all the finalists for the EPpy awards.
“The 2007 EPpy Awards honor the best Web sites in the media world, including newspapers, TV-Cable, and magazines,” according to the story.
Figured it out yet? There’s not a single hyperlink in the whole story! A story ON A WEB SITE about awards for WEB SITES with no LINKS to the WEB SITES that are finalists!
Am I the only one who sees something horribly wrong with this picture?

I agree and I share your frustration. My first inclination was to click on the words Washington Post and there was nothing to click on! This is a great example to educate students on the active audience’s needs and the importance of having hyperlinks in online content. Well-spotted.
