Thursday, I’ll be enjoying the air transit system all day as I head to Vancouver, B.C. for the Canadian University Press SAGA 2007 Convention. While at the convention, I’ll be presenting three sessions and participating in two panel discussions. #

Sessions: The changing roles of reporters; Economic pressures impacting media; and What some college papers are doing with multimedia. #

Panels: Techology: the student papers of the future; and The differences between US and CAN student media. #

Hopefully, I’ll get the opportunity to put some of these multimedia efforts to use by snapping some photos and talking to some Canadian student journalists and advisers about the situation up north. #
