Multimediashooter.com is a site you’ll want to check out. It’s run by Richard Koci Hernandez of the San Jose Mercury News, who’s been at the forefront of digital video photojournalism for a while. From the “about” page:
The site hopes to offer tips, news and commentary about digital storytelling. Multimediashooter will highlight examples of multimedia story-telling with the hope of recognizing those who do outstanding work and helping those who want to.
The site will feature a gallery of outstanding multimedia; a forum to ask questions and get answers from the best in the business; tutorial sections offering Flash, Soundslides, iLife, etc; and the most comprehensive multimedia archive on the web.
That’s a tall order, but it’ll be worth watching. Here’s one interesting post to read about the process of producing a multimedia package: Multimedia - from planning to publication
