I had no idea that my Mustang Daily predecessors took on this feat and I'm sad that it died away. <br> <br>I spoke with Ryan Chartrand via IM a few minutes ago to find out what happened, and he said: "You have to understand one thing: There were barely any colleges with news sites at that time. You don't even know how much they fought [the general manager] to even hire me the year before. No one cared about web, and this was only a few years ago. Ryan and Dan were way ahead of their time. If they were to start the same project again today, it'd be valued and successful.

It would be interesting to get the CSU campuses to collaborate and build another similar network using Publish2. If I wasn't graduating in 23 days, it's a project I'd start… Any takers?
